Saturday 2.11.12

Maggie up and out the door for a 12 mi run with Serena in 12 degrees and 4 in of snow.

Asher had an indoor soccer game in the late am. He played really well- he was aggressive and confident - not the usual style he chooses.



The dudes were blown away by the show:). Seen here getting the most of our 3-D glasses rental.

The boys and I met hobbs and mike at the star wars in 3-D movie. Maggie to book club- the kids painted scorpions and a horse.






Stair sledding has become popular in our house. Notice hazel waiting for fee to come down???- She was sitting in that chair yelling (really loudly) "come on bud,,,, do it again--// that was great buddy!!!"

Friday 2.10.12

2.9.12 Thursday

f, h, and I took dogs to the vet in the am. They are 12 years old now! All checks out ok with their health, minus the pre-existing mental problems.
Maggie was post call so we all went to wines for felix's publishing party. He had mrs Rothman read his story (about going to chuck e cheese) for the class but he did introduce himself this time.

We headed to OH to meet Jim and jess and crew at castaway bay hotel/water park in oh.

The place was great,,, better water park than great wolf lodge- they had a wave pool instead of a lazy river - Asher was super into that one. Fee rode all the fast/high slides- hazel preferred the hot tub (which was indoor/outdoor)


Hazel was insanely up (and down) on the trip.


Fee had a sore throat but pushed on


The game room was ok- they use credit cards instead of tokens and "virtual tickets" to trade for crap. We didn't find it as satisfying.




Jim, penny, and trixie each did karaoke (separately).

Wednesday 2.1-Friday 2.3.12

Awesome.

Asher tries to climb everything everywhere we go. Within seconds of arriving somewhere, (anywhere! Kroger/the post office/ the Y, he starts climbing. Thursday at the Y he asked me why there aren't signs on all the things you shouldn't climb in the world. I explained that not everyone who sees a statue feels the need to climb it. He said that's cuz they're lame. I agreed.



Hannah gave hazel a tiara:-). Her majesty accepted the gift though refused to say 'thank you'.
