I took the kids to stop 24 for some sand sculpting and ninja training. In the afternoon we headed down to champaign to g Linda and g barry's house. We arrived in time for dinner and a swim!
On Wednesday we went on a bike ride to hessel park and the kids played in the splash fountain. Later, fee became an awesome two- wheeler rider! I held his shirt for a couple of runs but when I let go.... He ditched me and rode around the whole park! It was super exciting and he was really happy!
Mon 6.27.11
Left mackinaw city for long beach after b-fast at the hotel. We stopped at seashell city for some roadside pirate fun and spent a couple of hours at saugatuck dunes state park in the afternoon. It was a pretty spot and a nice break from the long drive.
6.26.11 Sunday
Played at the hotel beach after breakfast- another glorious day! Took bikes and lunch to wilderness state park along the north coast. Deer ranch in st Ignace (the u.p.! So pretty!). Then straits state park for some riding and hiking ad park playing. A fam was at the park with 14 kids (11present)! They were all blonde which I found creepy but they were very nice.
Dinner at a Mexican place in st Ignace - fudge for dessert- then pool before bed---- what a day!
