Tues-wed 1.4/5.11

Dave and Tom came back to finish the basement! It looks awesome- Maggie and I went to ikea to get a couch and stuff to fancy it up.

Martha, Josh, Esther, and sebby came over for dinner and basement fun! The couch box was a huge hit.

Monday 1.3.11

Asher and fee both back at school- it was hard getting back in the routine-

I took asher to Sujay (the dentist) to check on his toffee-cracked teeth and his toothache. He has 2 cavities- he cried and was super disappointed- we stopped and bought flouride rinse on the way home.

Sunday 1.2.11

To no Thai for lunch and then the hands-on museum. The boys and I built queen amidala's palace out of foam blocks. Later fee and hazel to Tom and carol's to play while m and asher made cookies. Sunday dinner - with xmas gifts for the "kids" we wrapped isabel's present in fotos of Robert pattinson altered by Asher.



Carol made us this supersweet silhouette of the kids....

1.29.10 Wednesday

We made a Lego-ish snowdude with the kit from gr aunt Nita!


A bright/new basement just waiting to be wrestled in.

1.1.11 saturday

Still pretty mild so we took a family walk in bird hills. Asher was being a bit annoying to all of us at home- he is ready to be back at school! Hazel wouldn't walk- "too muddy" was her reply.


Mr restless did better on the walk than at home.

Felix was really enthusiastically pretending to be luke skywalker. We walked to the witches teepee and found several others had been built - more witches perhaps?!?!?!



Movie party in the basement after dinner- the princess bride! The boys loved it- fee asked ?'s the whole time - "is andre really a giant", "does she die?", "who's that man?"

12.31.10 new year's eve

A morning trip to the y for a swim got us off to a clean start - Maggie was off/ as was everyone else so it was mad-crowded in the family locker room.

Later
It was strangely mild so the boys and I went on a walk. After some ninja-move practice on a neighbor's landscape boulders we ended up at belize park. I found a little blue ball that turned out to be a paintball- i accidentally squirted it in f's eye. He didn't cry and is not blind.

Faith from 'the preschool watched the sleeping kids so Maggie and I could yuck it up at the goven's for new years fun!

12.27-12.28

I fell ill again- and needed to sleep and feel junky. The kids played with their auntie and uncle and g and g a bunch but the 2 days are a blur to me.

12.26.10 boxing day

Maggie headed back home to aa- the kids and I stayed to play more- we had a fun sledding afternoon with Ian, ryan, Dylan,& Kris - asher hit a sweet jump.

12.24.10 christmas eve

Lots of excited hanging around the house-
Santa came for a surprise visit in the afternoon! He brought a few gifts and had the kids sit on his lap (all 3 did it with no crying!)

Kris and maggie made dinner and then we opened presents!!!

12.25.10 christmas day

Santa brought whoopie cushions!


Santy was good to us- the kids were thrilled with everything! At 10- the Casey and Brewe families came over for brunch. Movie time (despicable me from Santa) and toy fun all day.
