The boys enjoying awesome lightsabers from auntie Lori!


Felix still sick- fever and general weirdness are the main symptoms. Jeep battery dead. Noah took Asher to school. Fee stayed home from school. Borrowed george's car & he stayed with F and H so I coul pick up Asher. Made clay gifts for people in afternoon+ lightsaber fights wii playing (Asher loves boxing! Says 'this should do' and 'that'll teach him' with every punch thrown). Hazel still sick and soooooo cranky until dinner time when she perked up just in time for bed.

11.3.09 Thursday

Felix sick now. Had really intense fever. George stayed home with F and H while I took Asher to school. Felix took it very easy and layed around all day. fun with cars later in basement.

Wednesday 12.2.09

M to hospital in mid of night for a delivery-came home and slept a couple of hours then back to the U to give a talk then stopped by preschool to get hazel from me.... so I could assist in the classroom. Felix, sebby, and aurore were a tight group who did everything together. In the afternoon, we all ate lunch at home then to the farmers market for a wreath and Christmas ball. Fee and I rode the bike to the Y for a fun swim/Asher and Maggie made cookies at home with hazel. Boys watched the burle Ives Rudolph movie b4 bed.

12.1.09 tuesday

Maggie took Asher to school- sick hazel and goofy Felix home for sleep and star wars playing. Picked up Asher went straight to T Joes- where both boys pushed their own carts- they were so excited- especially Asher. He filled his up really fast and was a great sport about pushing it around the store with one arm. Home for slow lunching and balloons(hazel is crazy for balloons) she gets this wild look in her eye when they are near.
Pretty day- we hung Christmas lights out front....... Asher officially had Christmas fever. Maggie to book club after dinner.

Monday 11.30.09

Back to school-did a mad dash taking Asher then Felix to school. Tried to get him to walk up with aurore's mom but he threw a huge fit- but then let me leave him immediatley once he saw sebby in the classroom. Hazel still sick- terrible runny nose/cough and a fever. In the afternoon we did lots of puzzles and played a couple of board games and guy playing in the basement.

Sunday 11.29.09

Barbara tried to eat hazel today-not cool.


Hazel feverish and cranky but slept in til 9. Maddy came over to play with boys at 9:45 am. Played 'mean lifeguard' for way too long (in this mean lifeguard's opinion). Isabel came over for a bit then we went to her house while Maggie stayed back with sleeping hazel. Played til maddy and fam & isabel left. Later Maggie and Anita to see new moon(yes,again)- I played in basement with boys-fee pooped in the toilet! We read llama llama red pajama and Felix got super- nervous about going to bed as he did last time we read it. It has to go. Though he was really cute trying to get back downstairs - each suggestion ended with "that's a good idea!".



Nude Felix kept getting in the sub with maddy and Asher who would immediately get out.

11.28.09 saturday

Up and packed for the trip back to ann arbor. A beautiful/sunny day-50 degrees. Hazel still cranky but better cough. Played ball with McRyan fam in front yard then had a decent drive back to MI. Hazel did a lot of complaining - overnight was up with a super high fever. New windows look crazy-huge in a good way!
