Thursday 7.1.10

Maggie back to work today :(
Fee, hazel, and I hung out at home and played guys.




Asher and Simon found Taylor Lautner and destroyed him= excellent. Simon stayed to play after camp until dinner.

Wednesday 6.30.10

One of these riley girls is proud of
Asher and Felix for attacking Sarah
Drake and isabel with nerf guns
and "minja" (the way fee
says ninja) moves.

Fee, hazel, and i rode the bike to the Preschool park playdate at wildwood.
Asher to star wars camp- Maggie to twilight with Anita.
Whole fam walked to top of the park for dinner and country music on the lawn- beautiful day and evening.

Fee made up a game called prapcember.

The rules are- A Grown up drives a car and a dog swims and werewolf dogs can run as fast as cars.

Day 2 of Jedi camp for Asher- he tried to have a playdate with Simon afterward
But changed his mind after sitting still for 5 minutes.
Maggie and I took hazel and fee to the Detroit zoo! It was a cool and sunny day. Felix got to see the polar bear being fed fish from the tunnel area. Hazel was really pumped about seeing the snow monkeys.

Another family bike ride after dinner!

Monday 6.28.10

Asher's 1st day of Star wars camp! Simon is in it too as are rob and Charlie from his preschool class. He was very excited - with his new lightsaber and he-man lunchbox in hand. It went from 9-4! His longest day away so far. He was exhausted but had a blast and is ready for more tomorrow. Maggie is off for a couple more days so we took fee and hazel to independence lake. They had a great time in the splash zone and fee loved the lake- hazel seems to be scared of deepish water. More play at kessler's and home later then a family bike ride after dinner. Maggie rode her new bike from gr Linda, Asher on his and I had fee and hazel with me. Hazel successfully climbed up the big slide and then went down it today!

6.27.10 Sunday

Gathered ourselves up and hit the road back to ann arbor. Home in time for Sunday dinner dessert with Anita and isabel and some mariokart action. Hazel says 'ashhaaar' (very high pitched and witchy sounding) all the time when she sees him or his things. She also scratches her butt and smiles and says 'scratch, scratch, scratch' -she laughs when we say 'don't scratch your butt!'

Friday 6.25.10

Hung out by the pool and around the house- g and g took the boys to toys r us to pick out a toy- Asher got a light saber and fee got a buzz light year.... They picked out a puzzle box for hazel.we went out for Mexican food and then to custard cup for dessert!

Felix to maggie "do you like Duncan more than you like your mom?"
He calls me Duncan about 90% of the time now.

Saturday 6.26.10

Crazy hot again-we spent lots of time in the pool. Then on to the children's museum before dinner at hoolihan's. The kids were train wrecks.

Thursday 6.24.10

Fee still feeling tragic- but gave playing a good try. Asher is in very high spirits however. He road his bike to the park with gr Linda- 4 miles! Hazel is totally better and is cruising all over the house.

Maggie, Linda and the boys went to see toy story 3 in the afternoon..... They all loved it!

Asher and I swam after dinner- he swam underwater! He was really excited---- he wore his mask/ it was a big step for him:):))
