12.13.09 Saturday

Still super-snotty/cranky Felix got up at 6 to keep me on my toes- once all were up we had a failed attempt at Y swimming (pool closed for lessons) and ended up at the library for a bit. M and boys did homework while dad and H napped then Maggie and Felix to trader joes. Glass family over for dinner. 2nd night of hannukah!

12.11.09 Friday

Hazel and I went to the new Aldi after dropping Asher at school. She was pretty faded after a crappy/ feverish night of sleep but that fit with the mood at the store. Felix (also faded) napped after preschool..... Asher painted a huge face in the basement. Cabin fever got to me and we all took a short walk b4 dinner. First night of hannukah! Menorah lighting and presents set a nice tone for dinner. Fee played with his new playdoh set and Asher and I made a spiderman with his benderoos. Hazel got a fone and spent the evening texting her friends.

Asher's school cancelled due to a power failure & no heat. 13 degrees this am!
To Chelsea for flu shots- saw Maggie for a few minutes. Made wrapping paper in the afternoon and introduced hazel to her walking cart thing- she walked it a couple of steps! A and F filled it up with "a new kind if gas from Target that doesn't explode" aka- army men

12.9.09 Wednesday

Snow! Felix to school though he sounds like a sick old man. Asher, hazel, and I to get asher's cast taken off! He is still sore and cried when they made him bend his arm. Guy playing and ornament making in the afternoon.

12.8.09 Tuesday

Gramma Laney played with fee and hazel while I ran errands and Asher was at school. I picked up j Lefler at a recording studio and we partied downtown then a brief hang with everyone at the house b4 heading to Detroit for john's show.

Monday 12.7.09

The boys helped hazel with her couch tumbling problem.


School for the boys- fee rode home with aurore then hung at home with Allison while I got Asher. We did more present painting in the afternoon and a bit of lightsabering but Felix was still feeling crappy. Picked up gr Laney at train station just in time for dinner.

12.6.09 Sunday

Lazy morning that started at 6:30 for me and the dudes.
Hands-on museum for all 5 in afternoon. Asher had great time building a wall with another kid (7 yr old Rohan, whom Asher said would probably be his best friend soon.) The boys watched the grinch before------
Sunday dinner at Tom and carol's. Allison and tom's parents there too!

12.5.09 Saturday

Went to Jenny's farm to get a Christmas tree- donuts and very agressive goats= Asher getting butted and us leaving after a few minutes.
Home to decorate it! Felix still acting sick and grumpy but no fever. Asher wrote a letter to Santa! Asher/dad walk later end up at Esther's before dinner.
