Fee creeping at hazel up on the counter in the y locker room.
Hazel was in poor form for our swim. She had a really bad case of "the hazels" (incredibly loud screaming/crying about nothing). Fee looked at me at one point and said 'she's really ruining this' in a tone of acceptance and understanding.
We carved pumpkins today:) it has gotten cold at night and I think our creations will make it til Halloween. I am trying a new squirrel repellant--- Vick's vapo-rub around the cut parts of the pumpkin. Last year our crack-o-lanterns looked ridiculous after the squirrels chowed down on them.
Milestone alert!!!
this was the first year that Asher scooped out the pumpkin guts. He has been too fancy in years past.
Fee, hazel, and I met gr laney, papa, and Nita at weber's inn for breakfast. After the old-timer's left, we helped ourselves to the sweet pool. We changed in the bathroom like sneaky teenagers.
Gr laney, papa, and great aunt Nita came to visit! We spent most of the day on the front porch playing games and talking. It was beautiful, but a little cool.
We all went to Sunday dinner at the brock's house.
Asher and I to his soccer game in the am-it was cold and windy! Then all to bubbe's for lunch with bubbe and Sid. It warmed up to about 60 so we headed on to wasem's to pick apples and mack on donuts.
Hazel was a whiny wreck for the apple picking. Maggie demonstrates her ability to stay positive and push on.
