Fee asked me to brush this off so he could eat it. I do like projects, but I passed on this one.

Hazel and I helped in asher's art class today. Hazel bonded with JT (a kid who might be crazy) over her "dirty baby".




"These will be good weapons for fighting monsters". I took this pic 2 hours after he fell asleep. Not sure what makes the headband a weapon.

Thursday 11.10.11

It snowed! I put up more of the door privacy fence in the afternoon- hazel had no interest in catching snowflakes or being outside at all. Her majesty does not care for cold weather and it's gonna be a long winter.

Fee drew me this picture of the two of us- so I wouldn't miss him when he's at school.

H and I "helped" in the art room with fee's class. Hazel did a fairy house like the big kids and sat next to Fee the whole time.


Hazel showed me a brown marker today and said "this is 'Root Beer Death!". That's also the name of a punk song Asher always wants to play, so she's not TOTALLY crazy.

Tuesday 11.8.11

Anticipa- tion

Election day so school is closed for polling. I took the kids to extreme bounce zone to meet up with the roebuck family. Lydie is in asher's class and Pete is in fee's. We were the first ones there so the kids got to watch the slides fill up and even jumped in the dark for a bit! Mcdonald's for shakes after that. Good times.

11.7.11 Monday

We went to the re-use center in the am to get doors for my old door privacy fence project. Fee and hazel worked on their moves





Hazel and I got a ride to fawzi's in the courtesy van to pick up our newly detailed accord in preparation for craig's list.

Sat 11.5.11

Today we all went to the creature conservatory in saline for evan's (asher's school friend) birthday party. They put on a private demonstration with the following.....

Huge owl
Bat

The caiman was super aggressive and made us nervous. Hazel flipped when the kookaburra did its super loud laugh.

I took hazel and fee to lowe's for some new doorknobs. They wore pjs which made sense somehow with all of the Christmas stuff on display.
