Friday 9.9.11

In an effort to keep Felix distracted in the am, hazel and I took him to the y for some swimming. It was super fun and he forgot all about his hatred of kindergarten..... Until it was time for school. He cried when we left-ugh. At pickup he was very cheerful tho and said 'it was the best of the 4 days but I still hate it.:.:. am I done?'.

Thursday 9.8.11 maggie's birthday!

The birthday girl on one of her presents! Sadly, Maggie had to work all day - but we did our best to make it special. No Thai for dinner and cake/ice cream with the govens (it's sebby's birthday too!).






The angry kindergartener enjoyed playing "rescue dad from the box jail" in the morning.

Felix had another tough morning full of tears and "I don't want to go to kindergarten", but at pick- up, he said it was "pretty good" today.

Tuesday 9.6.11

First day of school for the boys- Asher and Maggie rode bikes for a's 8:45 start time. He was really excited:). Fee however was nervous kept saying he didn't want to go- it was a long morning trying to keep his spirits up b4 his 12:36 start time. We rode bikes (hazel in her seat)- he cried when we tried to leave- it was heart breaking stuff - after school he said he still didn't like it and told us that he cried one time during the day. Even up to bedtime he said he hated kindergarten. Tough day but hopefully he'll come around tomorrow!

Monday 9.5.11 labor day

Fee and hazel ran a vet clinic in the afternoon.
Asher and I went shopping for shoes and craft supplies-- Maggie took f, h, and Hobbs to Belize park.

Sunday 9.4.11

Maggie at work all day- the kids are excited/nervous for school to start (Tuesday) and are crazy-emotional. Tried to get Asher some shoes and he crumbled under the pressure of picking a pair..... "I can't decide it's tooooo harrrd!!!/::" sobbing



Neighborhood picnic at hunt park with the gang. Pretty fun and a cool/beautiful evening.
