Friday 11.18.11

Pretzels and discussions of literature and poop followed the publishing party. Fee wouldnt read his story to the class but it was very well received anyway.

Busy day! Allergy shot/ pack for road trip/ art assist/fee's 1st publishing party/tj maxx for coats.



Asher is singing "puff the magic dragon" in music right now. I played him the Peter, Paul, and Mary version and he said in an increasingly thicker and louder Michigan accent, "oh man dad my class sings this song SO MUCH better than these guys!

Pete came over in the am. Maggie was off and got to assist in fee's art class with hazel. The boys have been watching the first three Harry potter movies for the last few days. So far they haven't been scared until tonight (#3, death eaters and werewolves)

I left hazel in the office for a few minutes and when I came back there was a demon in her place stacking all of our books.

After a very lazy morning around the house.... we went to the u of m natural history museum. It was the first time Asher has been there as a reader. He loved reading the information cards about each display.

It was a mild and sunny day in aa



Hazel and fee are not invalids - just lazy and cold.

Maggie worked at the u all day,,,, the kids and I played at home most of the day--- ninja training- making angry birds and later - Geocaching at west park. We walked down and followed the map and clues, but the spot was empty. It was still fun and there are several other sites in ann arbor that we will try.
