Mon 10.3 - fri 10.7.11

Fall is in the air and the town looks pretty awesome. The leaves are changing and the weather has been awesome- sunshine and 60's / 70's. The boys continue to settle in at school and fee seems pretty content with it all. He gets wicked excited when he tells Asher about things he did on the playground.

We started Walktober and did a lot of walking/razoring/biking to and from school.




Wooly worms are taking over the streets and fee likes it.



He found a white caterpillar in bird hills one morning.



Guess how this one played out?
Yup, fee got off, Asher went down and hazel launched up and on her butt! Awesome. Asher got a Nasty scratch on his face a few min later while helping me remove rotten deck boards. Thaaaawack!


Mixtwood park on Thursday am. Fee was trapped by the motorcade.




The boys have been aggressively trying to wear all black or black shirts and any color track pants- preferably pumas (aka the ones with the tiger)



Yes, the snake and the horse on the pony are in the picture too. She actually asked me if I could see all of them b4 I took it.



Friday home art proj! Black crayon skeleton scratch. Notice asher's on bottom says "beware" - now posted on bedroom door.

Sunday 10.2.11

Family hike around Leslie science center in the afternoon. This bald eagle screamed in my face when I took his pic.


Asher and I rode the trails back home by way of the bmx park. Asher did well and was jazzed by the 'adventure' of it all.

Saturday 10.1.11

Asher and I went to his soccer game while fee, hazel, and Maggie went to hunt park.


Asher spent the night at esther's with 2 other kids (girls he didn't know) for esther's 7th birthday party. They went to a u of m women's volleyball game and all slept in the living room. He had a great time and was unphased by being the only boy.

When I ran the party idea by him a few days b4 he said "it doesn't sound that great..... I mean,,,,, (huge pause),,,,, I'm not really interested in volleyball."
