Saturday 9.18.10

Maggie had to work at the u all day and was gone by 7:15. It was col and rainy/thundery most of the day so we just hung out at home- except for a visit to anita's to play ninja turtles on the wii in the afternoon. Hazel is sick now and seems eager to reclaim her title as the "worst sick person in the world". Lots of screaming and saying "no, no!"

In a brighter moment of the day she said "pocket" and also "where's George?", "pay hockey?".

I started ripping up carpet in the dormer in prep for new flooring. Sadly there are no hardwood floors underneath it.

Friday 9.17.10

Felix had a rough night's sleep=so did I. He has a pretty bad cold all of a sudden. We did some hanging around b4 martha picked him up for school. It was a nasty day but turned super pretty by the time we picked up Asher. We had a bonfire dinner- Asher and i had fun using our new tree branch lopper tool when the rest had gone in.








Hazel changes clothes a few times a day- she sees a shirt or dress she likes and starts saying 'petty, yook petty'. Then starts ripping off what she's wearing and saying 'ott 'ott' like it was a horrible choice to begin with.

Thursday 9.16.10

I went to ikea and bought "wood" floors for the dormer. We are eliminating carpet for my allergy probs. Maggie got home around lunchtime.
Asher lost his other front tooth b4 school while wrestling with Felix. He wants to get his face painted like a vampire.

The boys have been bonding thru online video games after school.

Tuesday 9.14.10

Fee was worn out in the am and wanted to play inside with hazel though it was a lovely fall day. They wore superman costumes and I chased them.


After Dinner we went to the wines picnic and just ate dessert. Sat with Lisa and Ella/ the hall's.



Hazel keeps climbing things and then says 'me!'. 'me!'. As in, look at me!

Monday 9.13.10

Fee's first day back at school! He was really pumped up for it- he said it was great! Hazel keeps calling all colors yellow. She and fee chowed on donuts at meijer in the am.




Fee and sebby- off to the 4's class!

Sunday 9.12.10

Maggie ran 10 miles! Asher ties his own shoes! Costumes and silliness around the house in the am.






Bike riding/fee played at Tom and carol's.

All neighborhood kids came to our house to be with babysitters while adults had co-ed bookclub at kessler's. Asher, esther , and hobbes rode bikes to hunt park with Nellie....... Asher lost a front tooth! Sunday dinner at jean made a Guinness cake for maggie's bday!
