Saturday 5.29.10

M to am clinic and then paper writing til 3:30. Hot and pretty day!








The kids and I played around the yard and house all day. We made sidewalk paint that they eventually put into their squirtguns for some serious messiness. Fee has a pretty nasty sounding cough and cold but is much mellower and cuddly which is nice. Later we all walked to the hall's house for a BBQ party with the neighborhood gang. I was the balloon blowerupper! The kids all had a great time . Isabel came over to sit at bedtime so Maggie and I could go on a walk and then to kessler's for the (tired) adult's party.

5.28.10 Friday

Pj day at school for Felix. He was pumped to wear his "new" spiderman hand- me downs. I went to allergy shot #3- not workig yet. isabel stayed with hazel.

We found a waterslide/pool in our door this am. Later found out it was from mr. Bill (neighbor). Isabel and i set it up for fee who loooooved it and kept saying it was the best day ever! It was beautiful and warm. Asher played at Simon's til 4. Was taken to zingermans roadhouse for lunch.
Cullen and Andrea came by for some water sliding and fun.

Side notes:
Fee told me I was dramatic-
Asher was nude and refusing to get dressed after dinner- while playing with his magformers, he set to on his lap- the magnets connected and pinched his penis. He cried- I laughed inside.

Thursday 5.27.10

Fee, hazel and I went to hunt park and were met by a disgusting sight- 30 or so moms and their kids had mobbed the park with picnic blankets and diaper bags and casseroles. We stayed anyway and I chatted up one mom who said they were a churchy mom's group 60 strong. And after further probing I learned that her doctor is Dr Riley whom she loves and "delivered" her 2 kids. Maggie says she was just in the room for one and paged too late for the other. We were so proud!

5.25.10 Tuesday

Fee and I took hazel to get her 15 mo check up and some shots. She was so mad. She is 18 lbs now(need 20 to face carseat forward). She is in the one'th percentile for weight and 50th for ht. Dr brown was pleased with h reaching developmental milestones like walking/some words (now says: dog ball cat mom dad up moo baa) despite her skinny little bod.

Another hot day- we got a bigger pool at the big k.

Asher asked me why I moved to california and if I was ever on tv. He was very pleased to hear that I was in a commercial- he says they are his favorite thing to watch.

Fee said when he's a man he wants only one kid. And it will always stay a baby.

Monday 5.24.10

I downloaded a behavior chart thing for my phone that we started using today. It really helped motivate the boys to hey dressed/moving to school. It was hot! 80 by 10 am.

Asher had a playdate at gabe's in the afternoon - fee/hazel and I played in the pool in the yard.

Sunday 5.23.10

Hot day in long beach- fee in hot tub with papa and Asher/hazel/grandma/Maggie to park then bart took gr Laney, Maggie and the kids on a private fire truck ride. They also checked out officer chastain's cop car and bullets. I cleaned the eaves! All to stop 24 at noon tower ry Casey. So beautiful and hoooooooot. The water was cold but refreshing.
