Cole is back

After two months of no exercise - cole is back and hopefully heartworm free.

42 degrees! We couldn't resist a scooter ride to Kosmo.

Hazel made it all the way downtown and most of the way back.

Big day for the big girl - breakfast at dexter bakery! Party at chuck e. Cheese- and Sunday dinner

11/2/13 sat

Cold and grey. Went to little daddy's to meet gr Linda/bubbie/Sid/ bill/Susie for lunch. Fee and hazel played g.i. Joe guys at home all day! Maggie and Asher walked bird hills with cole.

10.24.13 Thursday

Snow on the roof this am! Cole has heart worms -:( and we'll start the treatment in a couple of weeks. 6 weeks of no exercise they say..... Aaahhhhhhhhhhhh.

Asher's last fall soccer practice- parents vs kids scrimmage

Flu mists for the kids and a shot for me. Asher is 81 lbs!

We got a new car. The jeep started giving subtle hints of its own mortality and was replaced with another jeep.

Its 10:30 pm and I am on a stakeout in the kids' fort right now- something (probably a raccoon) tried to get in the chicken coop last night. I have an ipad, a sleeping bag, and a BB gun. He's in trouble.

Indiana for the weekend....

We got Asher a soccer goal at Menards.

It was cool -in the 70s

No swimming, but nice hanging with bridge, Julie, and fams.

We took a walk on the golf course to see where we went sledding last Christmas.

Hazel and I babysat for our friends' (rob and Maureen) 16 mo, Fiona. Hazel was super attentive and sweet but got a little bit jealous after awhile.

Tonight Maggie called me from the bathroom to say a bat was in the house. I swatted him down with the Clifford quilt thereby rendering him stunned. I covered him with Maggie's popcorn maker lid as he was laying on the dog crate door on the floor. I carried it outside, put him on a garbage can lid and looked for the BB gun to kill him with (to send him off for a rabies check). But when I turned around, he was gone. He squeezed thru the gaps in the crate door and disappeared.

So much so fast

Hazel wrote this and told me it says "where are the diamonds?"

We had all the futsol families over for an end of season bonfire/nerf battle!

Maggie thinks I put the milk on the watermelon. There's no way to be sure.

After swimming at the Y- went to the dexter bakery for donuts.

No school again today- teacher meetings.
Between snow days and holidays it has been forever since these dudes had a full week of school. Fee and hazel played at Noah and Beatrice's house and Asher went to william's in the am and had Kyle over to our house.

Good times---- martial arts b4 dinner:)
