Making chex mix



Asher counted out 100 jelly bracelets to share for his 100th school day party next week.


A house full of tired people. The kids got me up too early- m slept later then took boys on a snow walk while hazel and I went to sleep. Asher has a sore throat-and a hangnail which seems to trouble him more. The rest of the day was spent lazying around. A and F never got out of their pj's! Hazel was a craaaank most of the day with walking attempts as the bright spots.

Asher has taken to abbreviating lots of things..... Like milk he calls "muh", nutella is "nuh". He also calls me crybaby all the time-----soooooo cute.

2.12.10 Friday

Asher woke up with chills this am and asked to sit on my lap. He had some ibuprofen and rallied for school and his valentines party.

After school-all were ready for a nap-especially Asher! Later the padilla fam came over for dinner.

2.11.10 Thursday

Took Asher to school, then f and h and I took dogs to vet for tooth work.

Kerry and alli (babysitters) came over so I could take hazel to dr appt. And they took boys to skate class. Asher got out on the ice! He swore he was done with it but he tried again. Fee skated for a minute too.

Took all 3 to pick up dogs from vet. Felix remembered the tech's name from earlier in the am. He said 'why is Jenny still here?'



Felix saw hazel's cradle cap and said 'is that baaaaaiiinns (brains)?'.

2.9.10 Tuesday

It snowed a bit overnight and continued on thru the day. School for Asher- fee and I played guys in basement. Snow got super heavy. Maggie's work shutdown early. We played in snow a while. Beautiful!

Monday 2.8.10

School for boys.... Hazel and I did errands and cried a lot. Simon over to play in afternoon. Supersleepy Felix napped. We made power ranger masks despite my hatred of the power rangers.
A real grown-up moment for me. Ha

sunday 2.7.10

asher and fee wore their black-suited spiderman costumes to sunday dinner.


a very lazy sunday spent hanging around the house. maggie took the boys to belize and mixtwood parks- sunny and cold! picked up esther to come here and play with asher while felix stayed and played with sebby at their house. sunday dinner at the brock house. superbowl was on.

saturday 2.6.10

skated at billy's pond with ringo and brock families. a beautiful and sunny day.

Friday 2.5.10

School for boys. Swim lessons in afternoon. Felix didn't do lesson- stayed on other side with h and I. Hazel was fearless and crazy. She refused to be held- kept crawling away either out of the pool or into deeper water.
