Saturday 4.10.10

Took it easy in am after bad sleeping night for most. Asher felt much better though- Gr Linda and gr Barry left for bubbie's before lunch and we went to dominos farm petting zoo. It wa warmish but crazy windy. Felix rode a pony named jewels and we fed goats carrot sticks. All were exhausted after the wind and sun and lazies about the house later.

Friday 4.9.10

Linda and I took Asher and Simon to soccer camp and ended up staying for the whole time. Asher was supercute doing the drills and kept sitting down during the game. Home for lunch - then Barry, Linda, Asher, Maggie, and Felix walked to kerrytown. Asher was saying his belly hurt when he got home. He eventually threw up a few times and was out of commisiom for the night. Barry and Linda took Felix to shish for dinner. He ate tons of shrimp and wanted to stay there all night he said.
While Asher slept on the couch and the others were at dinner,, hazel and I walked to Belize park- I sat on the tire swing with her on my lap and b4 we got too high the swing rope snapped an I landed on my butt launching hazel face first into the mud. She was mad, but not hurt thankfully.

Thursday 4.8.10

Asher to soccer camp- then skating class later with Maggie (she skated at the end of class too). Fee, hazel, and I went to mixtwood park briefly- it was fffaaaarreeeeezing. Linda and Barry arrived later- all of us to dinner at jolly pumpkin. Hazel was great- she walked all over the restaurant and chatted up everybody-probably her first solid restaurant trip. Maggie and I to ryan lewis' little shop if horrors play.

Wednesday 4.7.10

M to work in am. Fee and I gathered up worms in the rain. Maggie, hazel, and fee play wii at anita's. Ian arrived for late lunch then Ian, Felix, and I fish at Barton dam in light rain. Caught no fish but had a fun time. Picked up Asher from his post soccer camp playdate at Simon's. Maggie and Asher to gymnastics. Ian stayed and played and ate Thai food with us.

Tuesday 4.6.10

Asher back to soccer camp then lunch and play at Simon's. Gorgeous afternoon- all fam to kessler's on walk. Boys went nutty with squirtguns. Hazel back on dairy 3 days now- and super crabby.

4.5.10 Monday

Asher (on spring break) to soccer camp in am with his buddy Simon.
Fee, hazel, and I play around the house. Bike riding in afternoon and bubble wand action in backard.

Sunday 4.4.10 Easter

Kids hunted eggs and ate candy in the house. Beautiful day! Maggie to work after breakfast then kids and I to the Glass's for more egg hunting/play/lunch. Home for bike riding at cul de sac. M had a break thru Sunday dinner at Tom and carol's-and yet another egg hunt courtesy of Anita, isabel, and carol. The kids ate well despite the candy intake. Maggie back to work for the night.

Maggie to work in the am. We dyed Easter eggs.

Friday 4.2.10 Good Friday no school

Felix has been complaining of an earache and is very tired/grumpy.
Lots of low-key hangout at the house time.

Thursday 4.1.10

Maggie taught her med school class at our house. After we dropped Asher at school- fee, hazel, and I went to buckley park near the river. Super warm and pretty day! 2 of maggie's students played trumpet and flute for fee when we got back- he loved it.

M back to clinic then kids and I to asher's skate class- he really only wanted to skate during free time so he could play hockey- but he grumped thru the rest of class.
We went to vet's park down the hill after class- Asher did the monkey bars by himself! Also Asher can now toss a baseball up to himself and hit it with the bat!

We rode bikes to the padilla's for frederik's surprise party- it was 80 degrees. All the kids there were being crazy- squirtgun attacks were a problem.

Wednesday 3.31.10

School in am. Hazel has become a backyard fan. She loves the sandbox and sitting on the trampoline. M home in afternoon- I went to dentist for root canal part 2. I took Asher to gymnastics. He can do a "bridge" and a "table" now. Maggie stayed home with the littles.
