Thursday 8.12.10

Played in basement in am. Rainy/muggy outside. I cleaned the basement bathroom last night...... This am Asher said "so you bought those bubbles?????, the ones that you just spray and they do all the work for you"

Went to independence lake and played in the spray zone as the day brightened up. Hazel fell in some mud and twice on the cement but was pretty cool overall.

Bike ride later- check out fee's new bike!!!

Wednesday 8.11.10

Crazy hot park playdate at burns park. The boys played with hadrienne a bunch. Home for nerf fights inside and prep for hosting the preschool board mtg later.

Mtg. Fee asked Anita "do you have a dad?"
Anita: "yes, he lives in california"
Felix: "I have an adult friend who lives in California, her name is Susan"

Tuesday 8.10.10

Super hot and humid- Asher went to Simon's for a playdate - for most of the day- fee/hazel and I filled up pools and did bubbles in the yard. Later- nerf gun war with isabel and vets pool/kozmo takeout dinner. Asher was super swimmy,,,, he had been boycotting the pool for a few week now due to the no mask rule.

Monday 8.9.10 asher is 6!

Asher's birthday!!! We went to the padilla's house to play in the am. They had fun in the yard playing lightsaber battles. Then on to target for nerf darts for asher's huge new nerf gun he got from Hobbs.
Anita, isabel, and george brought ice cream cake and Mac n chz to celebrate with us later:):)

Met bubbie at buddy's pizza for lunch with gr Linda.

Saturday 8.7.10 asher's 6th b-day party

What a busy day! Grandma Linda came in early sat am. The kids hunted for the 3 Ben 10 pinatas we made in the woods around fuller park. It was a glorious summer day- 80 and no clouds.
Later Linda, the boys, and I went to the bike store for asher to pick out his bike computer and other gear. Fee scored big by tagging along and picked out a bike for his early b-day gift. Pic coming soon.
