Thursday 9.29.11

Fee and I were play fighting at cvs and I pretended to reach into his chest and pull out his heart, show it to him and then force him to eat it. I looked up and saw a mom with a baby watching me in horror- and it felt right.



These two weirdos were sitting in silence on the tiger for a good 2 minutes b4 I took their picture. I think they knew how cute they were being and wanted me to discover them.

Wed 9.28.11

A rainy day. Maggie slept in after working last night - I took f and h to the Y -- the kids had picture day--- fee was not pleased about the idea but said he gave his biggest smile that he usually saves for his parents.





Maggie took hazel to the hands-on museum and co-op for snacks. M had to go to work at 5 but was home by 6 for our phineas and ferb movie party in the basement!



I bought hazel this shhhwweet Ferrari power wheels car at the re-use center for 20 bucks. I'm tricking it out for her.

Tuesday 9.27.11

Hazel and I walked up to get the boys from school armed with razor scooters and Gatorade. They loved the ride home!



Maggie was on-call at hospital so we brought Thai food and met her for dinner and play in the newly discovered courtyard complete with awesome playhouse. We played Yeti verses yeti hunters.

Monday 9.26.11

Man night fire- Josh's buddy, Panos, brought motor oil to demonstrate how to make "fireballs". I ripped my pants on my chair while exiting the demo quickly.

Sunday 9.25.11 fee's b-day party

A rainy am turned into a beautiful one at jenny's farm stand for fee's party. He invited 3 kids from school (Noah, Jacob, Charles) and his best bud, sebby. We played batman (or something) in and around the hay maze with brief breaks for pony rides and donuts/cider.
All had a blast!









Fee and hazel weren't ready to sit still so I took them for a walk in the woods- fee found some nasty mushrooms.




Fee got his own ninjago cake with strawberries on it!

Sunday dinner outside at brock's with new neighbors - in cul de sac,,,, a 5th grade girl and a 2nd grade boy!!!
They were very nice and the boys hit it off big time. The kids go to summer's knoll (a private school).

Sat 9.24.11

Asher had a soccer game - all attended (except Maggie who was gone all day doing her adventure race "dances with dirt" (she ran thru mud/rivers etc for 15 miles!).

Friday 9.23.11

Allergy shot then school! Fee is definitely getting the hang of kindergarten. He doesn't want to say goodbye at all so he marches in to class and pretends hazel and I aren't there. Asher is liking his class more and more too..... After a brief (but intense) feeling that the class was too easy and boring, he has sobered up a bit and realized that he is in the right place.


Gr laney and papa arrived after bedtime for a visit thru Sunday am!

Thursday 9.22.11

One more bike ride in the am before Ryan headed back to lb.

Fee is determined not to cry at drop- off and now insists on walking in the classroom alone. It seems to be working- no tears!
