Boys and mom walk to park in am & invite neighbors up for pizza/smore party later. dad mows lawn/weeds-hazel sleeps. Asher & dad to lowes for fence. Asher met a witch there. Also asked me what life was. People over from 5-8 for fun yarding times. End of eve Felix got too close to fire pit while pantsless and burnt his penis. It hurt badly and he was understandably upset.

Asher to school-dad,Felix,hazel to meijer. after school played guys, cracked and ate coconut, played water balloon baseball. Walk/bike ride.
Asher's 1st week of school was a success. He loves it!

Asher woke up super excited for school @ 6:15 and started cock-a-doodle do-ing and woke everyone up. Went to felix's preschool mtg with his new teacher- met Maggie there too. glued Lincoln logs together to make a cabin for fee's b-day. Rode bikes to kessler's. Dug for treasure in sandbox. Felix wore no diaper today- peed & pooped on deck and was very happy to show us.
Hazel feeling much better- dad too.

gray and muggy day. dad feels like garbage- got the cold that hazel has had.
played baseball, dodgeball, monster out back. felix pooped in the toilet!!! he was very excited
and kept saying 'i knew i could do it'. dad to preschool meeting after dinner. M home for baths and beds.

9.8.09 mom's birthday! Asher's 1st day of kindergarten!

All up early for the big day x's 2. Had coffee cake to celebrate b4 maggie took Asher to school on her way 2 work. Dropoff went well with no tears. A reported the following from his morning at school.
//Mrs rothman and mrs cook (student teacher) both 'wicked nice'. Talked to a boy named Mathew. Visited the office,gym,art,&music rooms. No outdoor recessq because it was rainy. Had book time.
-he was exhausted & excited to see Felix (was super nice to F and vice versa!)

Felix was a wild man all day, especially in the am. He was very excited to play with things without help from Asher.

After school all went to get mom's cake and a last minute gift.

Rainy/muggy lazy day. Played guys in basement in am then boys and mom to Hunt park for sebby's b-day. Made cookies for m's birthday. More basement playing.dogs loved chasing cars on the race track and trying to eat them. In bed b4 8 Asher's 1st day of school tomorrow. He is excited!

lazy day of hanging around the house with a short bike ride to Belize park in a.m. & walk downtown for dancin in the streets. M & boys did some square dancing. Ate at arbor brew co outside.
Every night fee rips a little piece of fuzz from his blanket and tells us it is cotton candy, a scrubby dubby, snow, tonight
He said it was a huge ball of fuzz named joejeek.h
