Saturday 5.8.10

Faux mother's day. Maggie is on call tomorrow so we showered her with love and presents today instead. It was still stormy and cold- so we all went to jungle java for play and lunch. Hazel was jammin in the baby section. Up the stairs and down the slide backwards on her belly over and over. More house hanging and cookie making later.

Friday 5.7.10

Mothers day tea at fee's school- Maggie went. Fee wouldn't stand up and sing the songs with the group but he was still so excited to have his mom at school. He talked about it the rest of the day. I picked up Asher and his frien Gabe from school in heavy rain. Gabe was super quiet but nice and played well with both boys. We made it outside for some soccer at Tom & pearl's house (next door). A and f played Ben 10 game on the computer- Asher chose it as his dessert (as well as an ice cream sandwich).

Thursday 5.6.10

Played star wars with fee in am. Hazel has been crazy into books lately. She plops down on her butt and points and says things like "daaaahhhhh" and "caaaaaaa".

Kerry stayed with f and h while I took Asher to skate class.

We all played outside and made bendaroo stick people later. Maggie worked late.

Wednesday 4.5.10

at drop-off for Asher he and Simon collided during a running hug attempt.
Fee was snack snagger at school- I assisted - I helped kids wrap mothers day presents- so annoying- but sort of cute. Aurore fell down the stairs at her house in the am and was sweet and my buddy all am. Fee and sebby have become a little gang- they stick together and call EVERYONE poopy- adorable.

Asher to Simon's for playdate in afternoon. Alli and Kerry over to sit so m and I could go to pf changs and fisher thtre in Detroit to see spring awakening the musical courtesy of my dentist pal, dr Sujay.

Tuesday 5.6.10

Home with fee and hazel in am for water balloons and rollerblading attempts. To the y for Asher's swim lesson-new session- he has Scott (fee's old teacher/super nice). I swam with fee and little skinny blue lips. Fun fun.

Monday 5.3.10

School then Vaughn from asher's school came over to play with his 2 little sisters and babysitter. Waterballoons!

Sunday 5.2.10

To Bloomfield for Marvin's memorial. The kids were good- even hazel the screecher was quiet. Lunch at dorothy's bldg- the kids chowed! Felix fell on his face/nose on the stairs. He was cheerful about it but looked bad. The boys went to bubbie's with Linda and Barry- Maggie and I took hazel home to nap- which she didn't do. Maggie took her on a walk. I left Sunday dinner early to pick up the boys at a deli. It was raining super hard.

Saturday 5.1.10

Got news that uncle Marvin passed away and g Linda and g Barry were stopping in aa for dinner on way to Detroit. We hung around the house/yard all day- water balloon baseball!!! Stars takeout dinner with the grandparents. Asher read to everyone after- it was so cool.

Warm and beautiful day 75° did water balloons all afternoon and then sidewalk paint when Hazel was asleep

Thursday 4.29.10

F, h, and I to library in am. Felix was sooooo tired- wanted to be carried and looked dozey in the car. Tried to go to Asher's skating class after lunch but he decided he wouldn't go on the ice unless I could join him for the last 15 minutes- he knew I couldn't with F and H there. We ended up back at home where f and h napped and Asher colored by himself.
Walked later- stopped by kessler's.
