Saturday 1.30.10

Hazel was up every hour or two all night-ugh. The gang still got up at 6:45. Felix and I took Asher to gabe's birthday party at the exhibit museum (aka dinosaur museum) in the am. F and I explored while asher and bday kids did a scavenger hunt. Felix was very concerned and sad about the animals that were stuffed and displayed there. He wanted to know who killed each animal and "wwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyy?" (in a shaky/tearful tone that immediately breaks your heart).

After lunch Maggie took boys to java jungle to climb around. They had a great time until Asher got scratched while wrestling with other kids there-(yes, kids he didn't know, an annoying phenomenon that happens at this place). I stayed home with hazel (supercranky tired). Went to Carter and lisa's for dinner. Fun.

1.29.10 Friday

School for the dudes- mrs rothman brought her choc lab (Sam) to school. The kids combed and brushed him as a center activity. Asher was itchy eyed and snotty when he got home---- in afternoon- had to wake supertired fee and hazel for Y swim lessons. F was a wreck and did not get in the pool. When we got out to the car the key wouldn't open the car door (not sure why, it was the valet key but still????!?!?!). We saw a lady we sort of know and her buddy Meg gave us a ride home. M got the car later when her bookclub met downtown at the melting pot.

1.28.10 Thursday

Fee to music class in am at preschool. Left feverish (maybe teething?!?!) hazel home with Jenny and Ella. Played guys later b4 mimi came to babysit. M and I to dinner at totoro then the sundance premiere of Cyrus at the Michigan theatre- courtesy of Susan and Trevor!
Saw Jonah hill and stayed for after party-jolly pumpkin catered- mmmmmm!

1.27.10 Wednesday

Fee on left making sweet eyes at mrs archer.

Freezing and windy day-still did a walking field trip from preschool to downtown library. Hazel came too and was not pleased. Asher to Simon's in afternoon. M home a bit early. New windshield for accord done in driveway.

1.26.10 Tuesday

Asher to school- play at home for the rest. Picked up Asher then got a $5 pizza to eat in the car on the way to jump city. There was a group of high school kids there making me and hazel nervous but the boys played on until a super tired fee tripped on a teenager's shoes left on the floor and cracked his chin open. He bled a bunch and cried hard but didn't want to leave. He did want leave to after his finger got nailed by the air hockey puck.

Sunday 1.24.10

More waterpark in the am but all were a bit sluggish still from the hard work yesterday. Asher was especially done with it and would only talk about getting tickets from games to buy crap. Long drive home with hazel crying and me getting us lost twice. Still made Sunday dinner at the brock's house.

Sat 1.23.10

To great wolf lodge to meet the lim/Brecht family. Lots of fun watersliding and video gaming. Everyone was exhausted by dinner time.
