1.9.10 Saturday

Felix said to me "did u know that I really don't like the way you sound when your voice talks?,,,,,,,,,,,,,, at all!"

Maggie had rough friday overnight- slept til after lunch.

Made volcano from kit Santa gave boys. Isabel came over with a hose to build a seriously icey igloo. It was a super pretty and very cold afternoon. Went to kessler's after dinner to burn Christmas trees and play with the gang.

1.8.10 Friday

Maggie home from tough on-call night. Took felix to school thru all the deep snow we'd gotten overnight then back to asher's to volunteer in the classroom(for the first time). It was cool to see Asher in his world. I did a puzzle with him and his buddies, helped in writer's workshop and got to read a story to the class.






First day of swim lessons at Y for boys. Fee was a little apprehensive and didn't want to get in right away buy eventually did and did great.

Came home for a quick visit and dinner with Maggie b4 she headed back to the hospital for the night.

Thursday 1.7.10

Took Asher to school then home to play with giddy hazel (who I swear said 'daddy' today) and whiney beyond belief Felix. After lunch we all played monster up in kids room. When hazel napped it started snowing tons so me and boys got back to work on igloo. Felix's job is destroying any progress we make with his kicks and punches- very important!

Wednesday 1.6.10

I assisted at preschool. Felix had a good day-even went and did art project in quiet room while I was in noisy room.



Maggie home in afternoon..... Took fee on a snow walk. The boys computed.

Tuesday 1.5.10

Asher to school with Maggie. Dad to dr appt. B4 lunch. Felix/hazel home with isabel- Asher had a long playdate with Simon after school. Had a great time playing in the snow w/ Simon and his grandma.

Monday 1.4.10

Both boys back to school. Felix was supercool about rides from Martha and ann to and Fro and was Ina great mood when he came home. Took Asher to school late after his final arm check at the u- he is totally healed!



We started "construction" on an igloo in the front yard. The snow didn't pack well so we will wait til it warms up a bit.

The boys had computer class b4 dinner.

1.3.10 Sunday

Still Crazy cold outside but very sunny......went to the library for a long visit. Felix listened to Stella Luna on the computer & found it to be very sad. Asher & hazel played with a little boy in the toy area.
Maggie and the boys made cookies in the afternoon before Sunday dinner at Anita's- the boys had to come home early because they were teasing and crying and tired. M to book club at old town.

1.2.10 Saturday

Post holiday blues are setting in and making everybody a bit grumpy. Sent Asher to Simon's for a much needed break from Felix and I. Maggie worked til 3 then picked Asher up on way home.

Despite it all, Felix said he wished our beds were all on wheels so we could push them all together and sleep in one room.
