Saturday 7.24.10

Jenny brought ella and miles over at 7:45 so she and m could go running- they ended up staying and playing all morning. The kids had a great time all over the house.




Maggie took the boys to jungle java in the afternoon to avoid the heat. I stayed home with hazel and worked on some songs for my upcoming library gig. I played UNO with Asher before bed- he's getting better!

Friday 7.23.10

Asher's last day of Y camp. We made lunch and met him there after for an indoor picnic and some swimming. It was 95 million degrees outside. It poured while we were in there- they made us get out of the pool when it lightning'd due to the huge windows around the pool.

We had a nice day of hanging out. Maggie napped til lunch. Fee and I watched Jean's tree get cut down.

Wednesday 7.22.10

Asher at y camp- fee, hazel, and I to Lillie park for preschool playdate. Super-pretty day..... Fee went on a nature walk with mrs archer and a bunch of kids.
Maggie home and awake in the afternoon for backyard play-back to work right at dinner time. Hazel said 'marshmallow' today. Fee said 'you need to get m a new penis cuz mine has a crack in it.......get me a robotic one'

Monday 7.19.10

We dropped Asher off for his first day of Y camp- fee (and Asher) seemed sad to split up after such a fun few weeks together. At home later we made flying saucers out of paper plates and then all walked with Anita and isabel to the towniefest/kids art fair at u of m. We saw Scott, faith, and fletcher there. A and F walked in the fountain!

Sunday 7.18.10

Kensington metropark for an 8 MI bike ride around the lake! It was really pretty- Maggie says it his her new favorite metropark. Asher made it the whole way with one break for fries halfway. I had hazel in front and fee in back. H fell asleep in the last couple of miles.

We swam and ate afterwards at the beach there. A, F, and I swam out to the buoy. Home for a break and to watch the original superman movie. Fee loved it! He yelled 'this is the greatest superman ever!!!' during it.
Sunday dinner at the brock's. Hazel was a supercrank and the others were crazy-tired.

Sat 7.17.10

Maggie went on a 4 mi run on the am with Kate and Jenny! Later - we met Carter and Ella at mixtwood park. Dinner and sprinkler fun at the glass' house. Asher climbed the tree that he broke his arm from. The kids made a fairy teepee in the yard.
